Solutions Studio and Spa Covid-19 Salon Protocol
Under the most recent announcements from Governor Cuomo, Solutions Studio and Spa will reopen on June 1, 2020 with strict sanitization and social distancing guidelines. We understand many are anxiously waiting for their time to come into the salon. Our plan to reopen takes into account any anxiety and fear you may have, combined with economic concerns. If you are comfortable with the guidelines we have set, we welcome you back and look forward to serving you! Our safety protocols incorporate standards set by the NY State to mitigate the spread of infectious diseases, many of which we were already implementing in March prior to closing.

Please understand we are rebooking thousands of missed appointments and are doing our best to contact all of our guests. We are not accepting any walk-ins at this time. All appointments will be scheduled and confirmed ahead of time.

Safety protocols and procedures:
 If you are ill, or have been ill, please call as soon as possible to reschedule your services. All employees will be self regulating and will be covid-19 tested.
Please bring your own mask, it is mandated that all guests must wear a face mask through the entire appointment. All employees will also be wearing masks. 
We are diligently working to sanitize all touch points between guests. Once your stylist is ready and their station is sanitized, we will text you back and greet you at the door. There will be a hand sanitizing station for mandatory use upon entering the building.
We ask that you limit the belongings you bring into the salon, e.g. purses, large bags, etc. There is no waiting area in the lobby, your stylist will take you directly to their station.
We have no complimentary beverages or reading material at this time.
We must refrain from contact during our greeting. We miss you too, but we can not hug or touch at this time.
Only those receiving a service may be on the cutting floor. No friends or family members may accompany you to your appointment, and parents of minors must wait in their car.
All stations, tools, and shampoo bowls are being sanitized with approved disinfectants between each guest. Our team will wash their hands frequently, per state guidelines of 20 seconds with soap, between every guest and after removing gloves. 
As we always have, each guest will be given a clean cape to wear during their service and all linens and towels will continue to be laundered after a single use.
All hard surfaces like door handles, telephones and reception counters will be disinfected, based on traffic. Our staff has been retrained and certified on essential infection control and hand hygiene practice.
We have markings on the floor designating traffic flow and safe social distancing waiting points for checkout.
